Microsoft to block SSL keys less than 1024 bits in August 12th software update

So another Critical patch by Microsoft and I have just heard about it – 4 days before it impacts millions of legacy MS IIS Webservers …

Whilst it only affects servers hosting the certificates and not the Load Balancers and Firewalls, it’s still work nobody is excepting to do, or want to do!

One good thing to use is the following tool, this can scan each webserver and report if you have any keys shorter than 1024 bits in length.

SSLScan - Fast SSL Scanner for Windows

Good luck all on August 12th!
